can any body tell me which file in the battle lgp is the texture for ultima weapon(the sword)?
 
i tried that one and it only replaced the model. so the texture on the blade looked all funny. i need the texture file.

the only thing i can think of to use as and example is the buster sword. the buster sword uses 2 files which i think is rtad and rtck. i know one of the files for ultima weapon is rtcz, i just dont know what the second one is..

Also, the buster sword is one file, rtck.  RTAD is his mouth texture
 
I believe he means, and I might be wrong about this, is the shading effect on the sword when his HP goes down. I don't think that's a texture change, though. None of the weapons are textured at all.
 
no i mean the part that would the material of the sword(like making the buster sword look like mettle instead of just white). like the tga files for kotor that you can open with paint.net.

I always forget about that!  I remember finding out what happens that causes that, but can't remember anymore :(

then why when i reinserted the buster sword from APZ cloud model i had to use both files to make the buster sword com out right?
 
Because they added a texture to Cloud's model to make the Buster Sword look the way they want. I think the models for the weapons are loaded the same way with the rest of the character so they'd use the same texture list. Add a new texture (only two of 10 or so) are used by the character so you can use others for weapons if you want.
