Django?? When I was a kid I used to think Django was Red XIII's grandpa since he's colored white. Hehe Wonder if he has some story behind him like all the other characters in Ehrgeiz.

Lol Im sure everyone here has slaughtered Ehrgeiz, even though I hated battle mode... I loved hard quest mode!
 
I think Django was SUPPOSED to have a back story relating to RED cuz he has attacks tagged "Seto" and "Nanaki" but i think they just never got around to it lol.
 
I like the dungeon RPG. That was my favorite part of the game.
 
Well I think the models in Ehrgeiz are nicely done considering its for the psx. How I wish I knew where the models are located there. Anyways anyone know of a site about Django??

Thanks for that.. But I was kind of looking for Django's story. I thought maybe someone knew about Django and how he lived as because google don't give me anything about his story. Now I surely believe he doesn't have a story and just like an extra character. sigh
 
yea, they were too lazy to give him a back-story to accompany why he looks the way he does and why his attacks are named Seto and Nanaki.
 
Never seen him. I never played Ehrgeiz. Well, I played it once and wasn't impressed so I stopped.

Red XIII has NO feline about him. I don't know what they're talking about.

they are talking about the fact that his face resembles a lion more so than a wolf and the fact that he has a mane "like a lion" but me moves and howls like a dog
 
My wife got to the part where you meet him and had never played any ff before instantly said "look at the doggie"
 
but thats why they say he looks like both

cuz when i saw him i instantly thought of a lion

different people see different things, and that's how i think square wanted it to be

they are talking about the fact that his face resembles a lion more so than a wolf and the fact that he has a mane "like a lion" but me moves and howls like a dog

That face isn't remotely like a lion's. Much more like a wolf's.

The "mane" and the tail are the only non-wolf things about him and they're barely feline. He's more like a Canine with a few feline traits. The official art of them does give them a much more lion-like face, but none of the renders of them look lion-like at all.

While I personally thought "dog" when I saw him (I named him Red Dog, yes after the beer) - I do see that his face looks lion-like.

Wolf - noses are more narrow.

Lioness - noses are wider, and you can see how the shape of the actual nose part, without fur, is similar.

This made me remember an old college project. Was learning Adobe Illustrator at the time. Anyways made a Red XIII beer Label. I dropped the X for just III to make claw marks and used a semi drunken Nanaki face. I was so sick off of Root Beer cause I had to make my own Case and as I thought, the teacher wanted to keep them.

Wow red xiii looks nice. :) He looks cartoony and funny. Hehe :) Did you also do other characters??

yea but the fact still remains he has traits that are both canine and feline

Canine - Howling, Barking, Eyes, Movements
Feline - Nose, Roaring (from the FF7:AC intro), Mane, Tail

Mix - Body type/Anatomical structure

again, its all in perception and how you see it for yourself lol. Like i said before, i think Square did that on purpose because they WANTED it to be such an effective combination of the 2 that it would be hard to say for sure that he was one or the other. Even in the game someone calls him a lion, and someone else calls him a dog.
 
It would have been interesting to learn a little big of Django's back story.
