hehehe NERV. i would never trust a supercomputer built by yui ikari to run a government.

1.
Whoops ... my specs have changed
Now I've got 192 MB RAM

2. NERV ? So we are talkin' 'bout this MAGI computer...aha ! Well, I've got 'End Of Evangelion' now on mpeg... oh, and Yuki has bought a Limited Evangelion DVD Box...

3. As for me, my computer has it's own mind...it quit or crashes when it wants to... I don't need to comp with human brain inside

That's all for now.

...why has everybody got some 1+ GHz comps...and I have to run on my 0.0008 TeraHertz ... :weep:

Alhexx, be happy I have these systems. They're the ones I'm going to render the remake's FMVs with.

Actually, minus software & a monitor, I can build you a computer similar to M5, Guardian or Colossus for about $1200 US dollars. Maybe even better than them since prices today have gotten MUCH cheaper for better things!

Hey, I'm building the Remake on a 500Mhz beastie. You don't need above that for an awful lot.

the only game i cant force my system to run becuase of processor speed is RtcW

Yeah, don't feel bad Alhexx, I'm *only* @ 700MHZ with a classic athlon, and my Savage card blows chunks.  Can't have everything...

Seph 3D: 1200 $ = 2500 DM ... for 2500 DM I can get a 1.5 GHz here in Germany, too. It's not that point...I haven't got enough money for building a new comp every year. And my mom would kill me

It's not that 800 MHz are not enough, but simply get jealous when I see all that crap build in your comps  ... but well, okay, when I get older and I get a job, I'll buy such a system, too

I'm not sure about pricing, since I haven't bought anything lately but I'm sure prices of things here are pretty low.

Why let you people have all the fun? Here are my humble machine specs (home-built):

1.0GHz Athlon
768MB RAM
50GB HD (4+16+26+4)
Geforce2 GTS 32MB
Pioneer DVD thingy
CDRW burner
Horribly overpriced 19" screen
Prolly a lot of other stuff

Oh well, I sorta got bored while writing it

True - might cost all of, ooh, £60 at the moment  ?

Remember, RAM is cheap as anything at the moment. I wish CPU's would drop a bit more, though....that's what I need.

qhimm, might i suggest generic 512mb ddr? 50 some USD a peice.

Its perfectly possible ... think how long TCP/IP's lasted so far

EVA TAKES PLACE A COULPE DECADES FROM NOW, RIGHT?

sorry my caps lock was on and im too lazy to type that again even though this message is longer than that one, my bad
