Me again, This time FF8 Problem

OK I'm at the missle base My gang is giving up hope when the place blows up, after the short movie the screen goes blank, after about 15 seconds I'm back at my desktop, any help? Oh, and Switching to low res doesn't work that just freezes the screen before the movie even plays.
 
Mmh OK, some questions...

Have you installed the FF8 patch by Square? GF or Non-GF?
Are you using any other Patch?

It may be possible that your Game and/or Install CD are damaged, try to reinstall the game, try to make Cd-Images of the CD's and try to play with them and so on...

If nothing works, wait till someone else answers to your question ^^
