The last weeks I reversed the Monster Hunter 3D file format in my leisure. This night I finally wrote a converter. I sadly had no time to reverse bone and animation data. Maybe the next vacation, who knows...
Hah, all the "old school" hackers here are already starting to reminisce about the good old days. All that's missing now is a rocking chair and complaining about your knee that always swells up when there's bad weather a'coming.

Uhm... no. That stupid coordinate system conversion and the bone hierarchy handling (the rotations) that results from it gave me the rest for the time being (I used DirectX). :isee:
That's awesome man! Some of my coworkers have just started playing Monster Hunter and would really like to take a look at some of the meshes from the game. Is this a maya plugin that you have made, or is this a file converter that is not platform specific?
