Remember how in the ending how sephiroth seems to be floating. Well apparently something was cut out of the final battle.
He floats?? Never noticed it and I've been playing this game over and over again. Interesting, so if he has the animation that he's floating, maybe someone will make a final battle Sephiroth with one black wing to match with his floating.

I don't think it's flight like that. If I remember it correctly it was supposed all be in Cloud's head. So basically Sephiroth floating means Sephiroth's hold on Cloud was drifting. He floats?? Hmm. Can you explain it more specifically?? I'm confused with what you're saying. ???I don't think it's flight like that. If I remember it correctly it was supposed all be in Cloud's head. Hmm I think Sephiroth doesn't really lose control of Cloud's mind and body because when Tifa traveled with Cloud in the Lifestream. Cloud just remembered what truly happened that he isn't his friend Zack. But even after he remembered the truth the jenova cells was still in his body so I think I agree with Cloud fighting Sephiroth in Cloud's mind. But the thing I'm not sure is if it's Cloud's mind. But doesn't Sephiroth lose grip over Cloud's mind and body when Tifa travels with Cloud in the Lifestream and fixes him for good? From what I can tell, that Sephiroth from the last battle is what was left of him in the Lifestream and Cloud actually fells in the pit when Sephiroth tries to manipulate him for the very last time. That battle and the movie right before remind me way too much of what Tifa does for Cloud, so we could say that Cloud travels in the Lifestream and reaches Sephiroth's mind (not his own), where he finally kills him once and for all and Sephiroth returns to the Lifestream for good (you can even see that in the ending when he merges with the rest of the stream). The fact that Cloud is not standing in his original position during the ending movie should point out that he *did* fell.
Not quite. Cloud falls because the ground beneath him was collapsing. That's why Tifa was reaching out to him in the first place. He was still standing on the ground where he "left".But doesn't Sephiroth lose grip over Cloud's mind and body when Tifa travels with Cloud in the Lifestream and fixes him for good? So yeah, that was not in Cloud's mind at all.But only Cloud knew about his retreat. Having been exposed to Jenova's cells, there were traces of Sephiroth's conscious in him - Part of his conscious resonated with it. Cloud could feel the existence of his remnant somewhere inside the Lifestream, continuing to obstruct Holy even now.
Letting only his conscious enter the Sea of Mako, Cloud went in pursuit of him. Riding through the currents, his old enemy was waiting for him. Sephiroth's soul was not yet destroyed and was still a threat to the Planet.
That segment right there says his body didn't move. At least he didn't make it move. I guess my interpretation is as plausible as this one.According to the official novel "The Maiden Who Travels the Planet":

Well I haven't really thought about it. The ending is so confusing. When I was a kid and finished this game I thought Cloud defeated Sephiroth One on One and I though Omnislash was a super limit break of Cloud. Haha ;D Did SquareEnix explain this ending somewhere??Personally I thought this was one of the things that was wrong with VII. It should have ended with a physical battle with Sephiroth. Nothing more was needed and the rest made it confusing and opened a can of worms.
