More save files?

Is there any way to have more than 10 save files accessable from the "save/load" menu?  I wanted to know if anyone's tried before, so i don't go mucking up my game for nothing.

edit: crap, wrong forum, can someone move this to game tweaking?  thanks...
 
I'd say its not possible to have more than 10 at the same time, but i think that each savegame is a file in FF7/SAVE/ directory, and you can move those to differrent directory to make place for new save positions. Try messing with that.
I think that it worked for me, IIRC.
 
May I just ask, Why exactly do you need MORE that 150 save files?

10 blocks, 15 files in each....Not even somone who saved at every possible point should be able to fill that up...
 
One for each save point, and before and after each town on the world map =P I'm only just past the Desert Prison in my curent game, and I've already used up all the slots in save files 1-4 o_o

WOW  :o  :o  :o  i used 5 slots for the complete game
