New VEHICLE

send me over the mesh and textures for one of these later ones, bronco, buggy or sub. i wanna check em out, might fix up the texture a bit.

Timu all the models and textures for the highwind sub buggy and bronco are in my last posted download. Even the blender files are in there if u want to touch those up. Sorry guess I should of been more detail to what was in the download
 
man those are some lowrez textures. id help out, but i have never textured a vehicle before. just some smalltime face textures for gta san andreas :p

heres a start on my buggy, but it still has a long way to go and many details are not even fleshed out yet. I've set the highwind aside for now, it hit a wall and was not getting anything done. Im keeping somewhat with the original style, but something a bit more vibrant and futuresque.
 
yeah that looks a lot cleaner :) i had a look at the textures in photoshop. but not having any idea what im looking at kinda hinders me from doing anything with them :p

got a little more finished. Not sure what the thing on the roof is, so its just grey for now. The hood scoop was a major PITA, but i finally got it looking good. Im probably 75% finished, the 2nd texture is a lot smaller and much easier to work with.

im n0t really sure yet. I could simply leave them the way they are, uber-details are kinda wasted on this since your so far away when you see it. If nothing else, ill make them silve to match the other metallic parts on the buggy. I just need to wrap up the backside and do the propellers and im finished.

So pyrozen any more progress on the buggy lately or still in the works?
 
Might just be me, or maybe it looks better in the actual game than in a simple screenshot or pic but i only like how the submarine looks. the highwind and the buggy look too...cartoonish....
is there any progress going on in this thread?
 
Firstly, please don't bump old threads unless you can add new information or content. Otherwise the forums are filled with irrelevant, out of date threads with nothing except 'what's your progress?' posts.

Secondly, as the content has now been released, I'm going to close this thread and edit the opening post to point to the new models.
