No blue chocobo

i am trying to get a blue chocobo, but i didnt get it and i mated a good chocobo and a great chocobo with a carob seed. what is going on?
 
Did you get a green chocobo? There's a chance that they will go either way, but if you mate them again the same way you can get the other color.

I'm going to say that their class is not high enough. Make sure you RACE those 2 chocobos and get them to at least Class A. Your chances of getting a blue or green chocobo are way higher that way.
 
So what was the flaw? You got the green chocobo that time you tried or what?
 
i got a normal chocobo, but it gave me a blue chocobo after i fed them
