Hahaha oh man, just thinking of playing a first-person version of FF7 with that thing makes me feel both giddy and motionsick.
 
After a while the awesomeness of strapping a chunk of plastic and glass to your head will wear off and it'd be put into the attic to collect dust along with your R.O.B, Virtual Boy, 3D Glasses and those Tamagotchi things.
 
Everyone has old cell phones lying around now. 
One could repurpose those screens with the help of a little duct tape and make a do-it-yourself hillbilly VR helmet!
 
I'm still trying to make my Virtual Boy glasses work and maybe I will browse on line for a tamagochi since you reminded me... never had one  :'( :'(

Darn there's a whole page about modding it...  :o
