Patch: Play FF7 without CDs

I thought it was Emperor Steele. :P
I haven't published anything about running the movies from your HD.  I just use CD images + virtual CD-ROM drive, myself.
 
This patch already exists... if you look hard enough you can find it.

There's a reg file:

As im trying to make ff7 run movies from drive but it still asks for cd.

Ah! My bad, Sorry Aaron...Yeah come to think of it, It DOES sound like something steele did...

Yeah, i made it, though that codded sniplet kinda of effed things up. There shouldn't be double slashes /=.

Ah eff it *lightly bops DD*
 
Well, on the subject of playing without CD's.  Here is a crack (I didnt make) and a guide to making it work (I did make).  It's pretty detailed and the majority of the people that tried it said it worked (though of course it probably won't if you dont actually own the game, damn pirates).  Here's a link to download it:

BTW, it works with the Chocobo Racing patch, just make sure you follow the instructions to the T.  If you mess even a small part of it up, it probably wont work.
