Plans for a fan film

I wanted to make a fan film for FF7 and the remake, I was curious on what people think of these kinds of films? Anyways my plan for it is to act like a gameplay video of a remake. No actual gameplay though, and just the original demo's length (first reactor) if done on a speedrun with minimal amount of enemies. Anyways let me know if people would be curious on this.
 
how do you plan on producing this, and do you have any experience making films?
 
mostly just animating in blender. I also have some experience in anime animation using anime studio. But planning to use blender to start doing the characters and such in 3D, at least a level above ff7's current graphics. Something FF8 level maybe, unless I can do it FFX level. I'm speaking in game graphics. Also backgrounds are still going to be 2D with animations. Used to that from making SCUMM games.
