hehe i visited the PK message board until about a month ago. they have like 250 dollars or something....
 
considering the member count (4800) you'd think it be a lot higher. (currently $22  :???: )
 
actually theres only about 1000, some people have looked and left. Damn i remember when that board was tiny!
 
I think....I'm  not certain....but I think I heard that Crucial.com has a pretty good return on their banner links.

Yup, that's were I saw it....just remembered....Looks pretty good, but everything looks good when it comes to money, question is....will it actually work?
 
Alhexx: you know, there is a popup on your own page too. Couldnt you remove it somehow? It is really anoying (fullscreen)
 
Really? I don't get any popups. You should run ad filters, then you're never bothered by such things :wink:
 
Do those pop-up filters work against programs like Morpheus too? Their pop-ups really annoy me, I always get the message where you can only click retry, and it often crashes Morpheus.  :mad:
 
mirex & Fice: Yes, there is a popup on my server, but it's not mine - it's my hosts one.
But I'm gonna change the server soon (hm, seems to match this topic :grin: ), and on the new server, there will be no popups

Seems to, I've never had Morpheus popups on my own PC. Filters out just about all popups and most banner ads, which is good going by any standards ... I've used a few, but I'm currently using Webwasher (free for personal use).
 
Hmm... I think I'll look into advertising on Sephiroth3D.com... I need the money...

Qhimm... if you could find a place that gives you a decent rate for just DISPLAYING their ad... add it to every page at the bottom of the page. You'll make a TON of money just from us reading the board and replying! :grin:

i never get popups from morpheus. i get an error from ads.musiccity.com every hour or so.
 
Scrooge.......but I won't either......guess we are both scrooges. :grin:
 
Well, finally an update. Good job Qhimm. If you need any help, I DO have unlimited web space I would be willing to lend to you. But you must compile Garden for me since I have no programming knowledge whatsoever and won't until next summer. I will give you the FTP information if you decide to accept my offer. yeah, i was gonna say something like that. if you want to you can possibly host it on my isp's server for free.
