Damn!, I never could've imagined that anime studio could make something that good, most of the stuff I've ever made was shameful beyond words but this guy has inspired me to get started again, I guess photoshop can really work wonders here.

Something tells me if they make an FFVII anime it'd turn out kinda bad. I'm thinking of how they messed up the story in Last Order, and how they made Advent Children seem like some random filler episode. I'm also thinking about how devil may cry got its anime series. It was pretty boring and irrelevant and didn't have much of a plot to it. :P
 
well to me ff7's story went slap-retarted after the game itself. Any release of ff7 content after the actual Final Fantasy VII game may have added a lot to the story, but it was executed porrly by fools in my opinion lol. I just generally HATE SQUARE-ENIX. But don't get me wrong..SQUARESOFT was the greatest group of individuals that ever made anything. Put it this way...since as long as you can remember has any squaresoft game dissapointed you? Now how about square-enix, in my case point made, maybe not in yours. Id like to hear your opinion.
 
Hmmm...although Advent Children was limited in its focus and had a disproportionate amount of fanservice, and Dirge of Cerberus was a horrible abomination of a game that never should have been made, not everything in the Compilation is bad.
For example, I felt that Crisis Core was a worthy prequel to the original game, and expanded on the FFVII universe in an entertaining and believable way instead of dumping on jarring and cliched extra material (like DoC).

But this thread doesn't exist to carry on that endless debate. To make up for that rant, here's Sephiroth versus Sephiroth.

Whoaaaaaaaaa that Cowboy Bebop Dissidia opening was crazy awesome.
 
I do not yearn for a remake by any means, I want to express my creativity through FFVII.

Two videos from myself:

The first video is simply a remake of the official menu. The second video is just a UI over the movie albeit it still took awhile to design and animate.
 
Those are absolutely amazing and incredibly professional.
It would be interesting to see if it would be possible to create a menu system like that for FFVII itself...

Also, here's a 3D animation project demo that I found interesting.

Hmm... It's hard for me to not want a FF7 anime. But you're right. A few things in Last Order bugged me.
And Xenosaga I became an anime series - it was okay, but after I'd watched it I just wished that I'd gone back and played the game again, instead.
I guess it's like reading a book v watching a movie. Book's always better. Might as well just play through again!

LOL, That happens in the beginning of FFXIII. Lightning uses some kinda levitate magic to get to the other side and Sazh tries to stop her so he grabs her from behind and she tries to struggle out of his grip and it looks like raep. :P
