Well you see it isn't "post your how many windows can you have open at once thread" like you so eloquently put it, its a post your desktop thread and you see....I can't see your desktop!!.  ::)
Yeah I was showing as many elements of my visual style as I could in just one screenshot.
OP wanted to see themes after all.  :)

Dual Head, I love the fragments in the middle

Awww but pretty please Covarr can I have one?. I promise it will never happen again :'(, God Halkun must have a pretty beefy video card to push out decent frame rates on that setup!.

Wow halkun, you have my dream set up haha, I only have a single 1080p monitor :(

What Videocard are you running anyway? i have two 9800gt's with either a GTX470 or 480 in my future :D

My dream setup would be my current 1920x1080 monitor, a 1600x1200 one and a 1440x900 monitor in portrait mode. That's god-tier.

Also, if Halkun isn't playing recent games, I doubt his setup (which seems to be two 1280x1024 monitors) would require a particularly powerful GPU. Two monitors isn't hard for a card from the last few years to handle; hell, before I built my desktop, my laptop was handling a 1440x900 monitor and a 1920x1080 external with no problems even though it was equipped with a 9600m gt.

My Desktop Computer is running on a 32 inch Sony Bravia through HDMI 1080P on a Nvidia GT220. It's a self-built computer... I think a pure dream would be dualscreening or triscreening multiple 32 inch screens... ^.^

Man, I gotta know where you got those icons! Also, what OS is that?

Like nearly all the desktraps in this thread, it seems to be Windows 7. It might be Vista, but let's hope not.

My Current Set Up this morning as i was reading the forum. There are two screens the left one is 1680*1050 and the right screen is 1280*1024. they can rotate independently (on-the-fly). Each screen has a "task manager" for windows on that screen. if you look closely you can see the windows without focus are mostly transparent, also in keeping with the zelda theme i see you master sword and raise you a captured frame from OOT as shown in a picture frame widget.

i prefer my desktop not to get in my way, so it's a bit minimal, and low colour.

that background is supersweet!.  i tend to use lxde or kde4 on most of my systems. (although aali got me playing w/ an awesome /kde4 plasma combo). sometimes get a bit plasmoid happy. i can't stand desktop icons, but widgets that do stuff now thats useful.the panel is always autohide here.

Nice.  I can't stand KDE4, I like the concept, don't like the application.  I also think it runs like crap.  I'm partial to e17 to be honest, if only it wasn't so damn glitchy... Stupid beta software

if e17 finally gets a decent tray support i will also give it a shot. i don't like the general impression of slugginess that kde4 desktop has, even if the software has a pretty reasonable resource footprint. the various side apps are great, though (love okular and gwenview)

I'm using windows 7 ultimate 64-bit :)

As for the icons, I got them from deviant art. It took quite awhile to find the icons i wanted though har har.

The gadgets, I'm using google desktop.

It's not even tray support, I like how E17's tray works.  My issue relies on the menu.  It tends to screw up way too often.  Like I'll install it, then Firefox is missing, so I gotta jump through hoops to re-add it, then giving it an icon is another story entirely.  Many of the GUIs for customization don't work half the time, and the config files are horribly laid out

idk whan the last time u used kde4 was but it has been getting much more stable and responcive since. kde4.5 is very snappy here , and i just put it on an old sempron 3300+ w/ a geforce4mx (intergrated) w/ 1GB of ram.even with desktop effects turned on the machine is still responcive and at least 2x the speed xp was on the same machine.
