Problem after introvideo

Hello.
I have following problem. When i start a new game and the intro video is over, i get a black screen and i dont here any music (only the soundeffect when one hit another). I also get the textbox "Hey newcomer. Follow me blabla".

Patches installed:
1.02
High resolution
Minigamefix

System:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4400+
GeForce 7800 GTX
Other stuff is uninteresting i think.

I normaly have the german version, but i have made a "patch" to turn it to the english version. (done it with a friend)
The patch isn't the problem i think, cause on my old system (AMD CPU, GeForce 4400 TI) i never had a problem.

Try reinstalling the game, do you know what files the patch modified?

The selfmade patch changes the data files of the german version into the data files of the english version. (.lgp files)
Last time it worked, but since i have a new system the screen goes black. I try reinstalling.

Installed again and tested it without patches... same problem.
After the train arraived -> black screen.
I think its cause of my new system. Don't know how to solve it, but there must be a way.
