It shows error 105, but I have no idea how to fix it. I went to the edios website, and I think the solution up there is for win 95 or 98, can someone help me out??

XP always has trouble installing FF7. Try the patch(even though it had a 80% chance of buggering up the game;i've had that problem). If you still have problems, are your discs scratched atall? If you still have problems after THAT, give InstallShield a bit of time once it has frozen on 99%. Who knows, it might hav just been checking everything is ok?

God, my avatar is tiny. It's supposed to say I AM GOD on it. Now you need a magnifying glass to see it
I think these type of options are only available in Windows 95/98... you shouldn't be able to have your hard drive set to any kind of DOS or 16-bit compatibility under Windows XP.On the Edios web it says the error has something to do with MS-DOS compatibility, or my hard drive been 16-bit or something, but I have no idea how to change it
