Question about stat up sources

Is it just me, or do they not increase stat, when I try to increase vitality with guard source, nothing happens except me losing the guard source. is there a patch that fixes this?

No, seriously, i do not see this bug occur.

Youre not trying to get over 255 in anything, are you?  Cuz, that's the max =P
 
um have you checked your characters stats? it increases unless you're at 255
