Hey I'm new here. Is there any Mod that can make cloud into zack? or add zack to the party? Some help would be great! thanks!

Not currently, but it's possible.  Just gotta wait for those who're in-the-know to do it.

However, putting zack in your party would involve replacing someone else, so you wouldn't have a 10-person party or anything.
 
Ah, i see... what about for the psx, is there anyway to get him in there other than in the flash backs? Like gameshark codes and what not?
 
No. Because Zach does not have any data for partys and if you were to make him a member that would take a bit of time.

You'll have to make Zach a battle model, dialoge, and you have to edit PLENTY of the EXE (unless you replace Cloud with Zach)

damn...well that sucks! What about for the PC? is there anyway in there to get him? to to at least me cloud look like him? Anything to get him in there? :-?

I just said there is but it will take probable 7 months worth of worrk.
 
OH..... 7 months! damn.....that REALLy sucks. they should make a game where you play the whole story before FF7.not like the one for sp, though, but one for the ps2 or possavly the ps3. To actually play with zack and have the game ending were he gets killed and cloud takes his sword. now that would be awesome!

Wolf what you on about 7 Month's i can do this in 2 hours

5 mins to do the Field model

1 hour go and make some food

5 mins to make the Battle model

5 mins to make a menu pic

30 mins to eat my food

5 mins to test

5 mins to make a patch

5 mins to host the patch
 
As was said, its not adding much, just replacing. If you were to add Zack in the way of another party slot I could see it being much longer, but even then...
 
really?.... Ice_Cold513, do you think you could do that for me? please! it would be most helpful! :D  like if at all possible make it replace Vincent? except make his weapons the same as clouds.

Sorry TheUnknown911. Switching models is an easy task. Switching animation files can be tedious but I supose isn't that hard either. But what you are asking for also involves switching limit breaks and the kind of weapon and armors used. I think none of both things are possible right now.

By the way ice_cold513, how can the menu image be inserted? Didn't know it was possible already.
 
its easy just use the lgp tools prog to to extrackt menu_fr(or us if another language) and use the omega program to convert it to BMP after you have to modify the pic at the same size of the other and after reconvert it to TEX and repack it with lgp tools  


and i have a question.... i have a kind of Zack in battle(just change the cloud hair to black)how i can change the cloud head to the zack head(real not the cloud with black hair)

DOH! I never looked at menu.lgp. Didn't thought the portraits where TEx files :-P.
Great Sephiroth, you could simply switch the P file of Cloud's head by the Zack's one. The problem is that, to use it in battles, it should be arround 40 times larger and have pre-defined lighting drawn over it (and i think that the only current way of doing it is by redefining manually the color of every vertex using Ultima.
 
The most recent NPC Reconstruction Project Patch comes with a Zack model right?  Would it be very hard to replace Cait Sith (someone I never use) with Zack?  Is it all just a matter of placing Zack's "parts" under Cait Sith's battle and field model archives?

I am also guessing there may be a conflict with the animation files.  Cait Sith hops a lot in the game, and that would look really odd if Zack followed that trend.  Is there a way to change those goofy animations to Cloud's?  I wasn't sure if anyone else in the game shared Cait Sith's animations.

I'm also thinking about his weapons and limit breaks.  I guess you could change the name of all of Cait Sith's weapon names and change the model file with swords from Cloud's stash, but they would not be positioned or attack correctly.

If any of this is possible but tedious work let me know.  I just really like the Zack model that was made.  I think it would be kinda cool to add a new character to the game.

Whoops!  Found something about swapping limit breaks here if anyone is interested.
 
no because you could just edit it so taht zack could be jumping around instead of hopping around =P. What prog. cold i use to edit cloud to look like zack? both field and battle? Could somebody please make a patch! ='( plz!
 
well i dont know about the field models but there is a battle model by yours truely if you look for zack mod you should find it but if you had used the search function you would know that
 
I was just about to mention Munemasa's patch but I thought it was still in beta.  I remember you saying there was going to be another release to replace any character with Zack.  I tried the beta nice work Munemasa.
 
yea! it would e better to replace caitsith with zack or someone (pref. caitsith =P) Could you post the new upsate for the Zack mod when you get it? plz!
