well came to report another text box issue but the update seems to have fixed that and the previous ones so Thank you for your hard work loving the mods

Thank you for the very prompt updates Chrysalis!

I'm using an official DS4 controller and can confirm under default Controller Addon setting with default 1998 controller setting in 7th Heaven, all is well.

I can confirm the Sector 7 text boxes are fixed too, thank you.  :)

If its got a different button mapping to psx in its programming, then I dont know, this is really just to support native psx and xbox controllers.
Right... You can tell me in the configuration of flevel, what symbol for each button? For example i know if R2 i´ts º and L2 ª. You can tell me the others, please?

Some one can help please? i found some others, but still dificult to find X, Triangle, Square, R1 and L1. Thanks a lot.

I will post that info soon Cloud Hetfield.

Also today there will be another update for the controller addon, with hopefully final fixes.

Also the category for the controller addon will be changed. it's still the same as before it will conflict with flevel gameplay mods, but I will make it so its auto sorted lower priority in 7h, meaning the controller addon breaks instead of the gameplay mod.  If people have both loaded at once.

Right i'be waiting so... In the truth i'he ajust the layout, i only want to know the characters if some button appears in the game to correct my flevel.lgp. Thanks aniway.

First post has been updated now, also Fewtch has released a FF7 Remake theme for ESUI, link is in the first post.

Hey the Remake theme is very cool but when I use it, it changes the start menu background image and the avatars revert to default, regardless of any mods I have installed. Don't know if this is intentional or not, but there's no options for avatars or start menu backgrounds in the "FF7 Remake" theme of this mod.

Edit: Also the category is under Gameplay and not User Interface. Should it be like that?

He set it to gameplay to make sure the auto ordering keeps it above ESUI.  In the next public build of 7h, he will be able to do that without changing the category.

My bad about the start menu background, I had mine in there and hadnt considered that it would overwrite everyone else's. When the update for 7H is pushed, it will sort itself under your other mods

Sounds good. Thanks for the mod, it looks nice. I know someone is working on SFX, I wonder if they could incorporate the Remake menu sounds. I think those sound really nice.

Oooof, hell yeah they would. I'll look into that, maybe I can give that some effort ?

The UI SFX of Remake are very low, very understated "clicks". They're designed to be heard when you pause the game and it turns ambient noise completely off and turns down the volume of the music. In the original, the UI sounds are heard over top of the battle with the music blaring... If you put Remake's UI sounds in there, you just wouldn't be able to hear them.

Heck you can barely hear them with the music volume down and the ambient sound off.

Couldn't they just be tweaked in an audio program to increase the volume? The Remake UI sounds are understated as you say, but they just sound like updated version of the original to me. I had some old SFX from years ago that were similar to Remake sound and I just used Audacity to "increase" the volume. I don't know how to tweak audio files but I'm sure the Remake UI sounds could be brought to the same level as the rest of the SFX in the game?

Edit:
Mentioned SFX above used in this video. One of my OLD videos lol. Even the music here, if I knew how I would want to make it sound cleaner. I know, heavy metal is a personal choice lol.

You should consider making a thread in the FF7 Audio section and continue the SFX discussions there.

I just updated Fewtch's Remake version of ESUI and it's no longer changing the avatars. The start menu image is still changing though. Is that intentional?

You can either;

1. Move it to under the mod that changes your start menu in your load order (this may not be an option if you're using the ESUI that's included with the User Interface compilation since I would assume the theme needs to be on top of ESUI)
2. Unpack the theme and delete the start menu, then add it back to 7H until they add the option to turn it off or they remove it all together. (this is what I did so I just wouldn't have to worry about the load order of my start menus)

For the QC, I will move the avatar and start menu images to the Avatars and Backgrounds sections inside User Interface.

Strange, I do not seem to be having that problem. I have the Remake ESUI higher, then ESUI-rel2 lower, then User Interface - Qhimm Catalog lower, where my Avatars reside. And it appears just fine...

@ Iliasm If you read my post the mod is no longer changing my avatars, but it's using it's own START MENU screen that overrides the one I'm using. The Avatar issue has been fixed. It's not even a huge deal, the Start screen is from the remake as well I believe and looks pretty good.
