Remako mod woes!

Okay since I am not really sure what section this goes in i will put this here.
So I was wanting to try the Remako mod out, but so fart its come up short.
I followed the tutorial step by step in this guide:

and on this page:

I do everything correctly and no this is not my first time modding a game.
Regardless i get the following error:


What am i doing wrong?
If it helps here is my hardware specs:

As i am unsure if this is related to my hardware or the software.
I am running windows 10 pro 64bit and I already tried compatibility mode.

Again I followed every instruction, changed settings, even tried to update 7th heaven.... zip, zilch. not working.

Check that 7H is set to run as admin, and that whichever exe you're attempting to load is set for 640x480

Will try that next, I already tried running under compatibility mode with no result so far.

Edit huh that worked, strange none of the guides said I have to run 7th heaven as admin.
A very odd thing here.
Still glad I asked as someone else can have this issue and hit a brick wall like i did.
I will keep my account active despite this being the main reason I joined, as you never know if I will have more issues down the road.

Hello There,

Exact same issue as OP for me, I made sure I run 7th H in admin + 640x480, but I still get the same error box when I click on Launch Game.

Any other ideas?

Did you set FF7.exe to run as admin and 640x480?
