any one else got this prob?
1/2 the mods are broke as in not working at all

Are you sure you selected the Maximum installation when installing?

ya :(
only mod i can tell was working was the music and the high detail cloud battle model all others failed.
i even had to use the movies from the cds just to get the game to load after installing the mod.
dont think the open gl one worked still seemed like normal rez and detail

Run the Final Fantasy VII Remix v2.5.1 installer again. After it is installed, a command prompt should pop up with a text document. Inside the text document, look for two lines that ask for your resolution. Put the resolution there, save the text file, click on the command prompt, and press enter. This should make the game a higher resolution and add the registry keys that you were probably missing.

This may work or this may not be your problem at all. Either way, it's good to be sure you've done this.

EDIT: This should be in Tech Support.

ya i done that i think i might be working as it says it would have added black bars if it was on the default rez but the models are still not there

Are you using vista or windows 7 ? If you are, disable UAC first, then remove ff7 then reinstall ff7 then the remix patch.

just done that and all the higher models are on but all otheres still failed and the rex mod wasnt working b4 as i thaught cos i tooc a screen shot and it came out at the normal rez so the open gl mod must be busted.

and i had to copy the movies again from the cd so the movie plugin must be bust to and i had to turn off the music player as there was 2 sets of music playing

I don't understand you quite enough so all I can see is enjoy your new ff7 game. :D

hey is their anyway to get a working opengl.reg file i have downloaded this several times and everytime it says they cant find  it what do i do

The remix is horridly out of date, don't use it.
Not to mention full of holes.  Why does this remix live on?  Why does it keep coming back like a bad relative?  Read the forum and you'll see that the Remix is a sure way to crap out your installation.

ok i downloaded what you told me and i dont have the file bootleg.exe
