Hey Qhimm posters,
Just seeking a little assistance to a problem I have more than most people usual do. Quick brief of the problem I am having. I do not format my hard drives for any reason unless utterly dire. Therefore when the blue screen of death appears I have consistently chosen to repair windows rather than format. As many of you know is that when you repair windows you suffer a chance of losing information from your previous Windows Configuration settings. One of these crucial losses is the installation history in regedit.
Now my version of FF7 I used on my old Windows setup is not recognized by this setup. I know the problem isn't too tough to fix, but I'm wondering if anyone could give me the Reg Key structure for a 1.02 version of FF7, I would just copy the structure from my FF8 install but I'm not sure if it is the same or if patches switch anything significant. I have pretty much all the patches already set up and just need this Windows setup to recognize what is already there.
Your help would be appreciated.
