Unfortunately 24 SSDs would be damn expensive; those 256GB SSDs they're using seem to cost about £500 each  :cry:

If you start saving pound per day, you can afford the array in less than 33 years! See, no problem. After that you can start saving for the controller. :-D
 
And in 33 years SSDs should be a lot cheaper to make. Assuming that I'm getting some decent interest on my savings I'll have plenty of money left over to buy all kinds of useful things. Like love :-P

Picture - surprisingly - is actually worksafe. Unless you work in a monastery or somesuch place.

Nah. I'd like to, but I hear that many monasteries and churches and such places discriminate against atheists. :-D

Probably not, her pricing is actually high end - and here's the catch; in Latvia - most likely it's just a case of someone in her line of work being somewhat wary of social stigma, or some such thing. :-P

And to think, just when Vista's pathetic life is about to end there is hardware that it actually runs fast on.  :-P

Amen!

While the defrag was impressive, along with everything else, I heard that SSDs don't really require it.  In fact it could be detriment to the drives health.
