Save Program?

Is a program that lets you save ANYWHERE ANYTIME in the game?
Cause it's hard to find Saving Mark >_<

By the way, it certainly would be helpful to have a standalone save-anywhere patch.  Trying to install the windowed thing (which I don't want to do anyway) always gives me problems.
