ok, im guessing its a glitch or something, but the three barriers in my game in the wirlwind maze are not changing so that i can get passed, no matter how long i wait

is there a mod out there or a way to change variables or something or other to make it so i can go through even if its not changed?

i really need to know, thanks

It does change, you just can't see it. Fixed since 0.6.something of the OpenGL driver. If you don't want to use that just try to walk through it as soon as the battle ends, eventually you'll get lucky.

i don't know much about drivers but if i wanted to change it so it did it right, what would i have to do?

it's already fixed, download Aali's newest version of the OpenGL driver and install.

I had the problem before the fix, and it took me like 40 minutes to complete the entire section  Oh well, got quite a bit more XP than i would have if it had worked correctly.

got a download for the driver dude?

http://backup.ninjaloot.se/share/ff7_opengl-0.7.3b.zip

extract all the files and folders into your main FF7 directory(where FF7.exe is located).
Double-click on ff7_opengl.reg and select yes to add it to the registry
open ff7_opengl.cfg with note pad, scroll down to the resolution area and enter the resolution you want the game to run at (if not sure go with 1024 x 768)
Run FF7 and everything should be fine now
Don't open the default FF7 configurator anymore, if you do oyu'll have to rerun ff7_opengl.reg to restore the driver

im running a vista 64-bit, and the instructions say to use it instead... ???

yeah, didn't expect you to have a 64-bit OS, just run the correct one for your operating system.  It works the same way once it's installed.
