Shockwave Pulsar: An actual Limit Break?!

Hardest batle I thought there was on FF7 was the boss in the Ice Caverns just before you reach the top of the mountain and see the crater.... maybe it was just me not using the right magic though.
 
saint, i dont think theres a person on this planet that dosnt know that spoiler.
 
And Threesixty won it.  My friend Kenneth doesn't know about that spoiler.  But then again, he's only seen about forty-five seconds of the game.
 
All you have to do is look at the back of the PSX cover to see Aeris laying down with her eyes closed...... it doesn't take a genious to figure it out.
 
They have a point Saint... I mean, seriously, who would come to this messageboard and not know that bit of information?

I think the hardest creature/boss to beat in FF7 is Ruby Weapon. I mean, compared to Ruby Weapon, the One Winged Angel is easy!

I'm not saying he's impossible to beat. I've beaten him several times, but he's definatly hard to kill!

ive never actually seriously tried to beat ruby weapon. I die in like 30 seconds anyway...
 
Longest I've lasted against Emerald weapon has been like 20 min.  And that was without owning the Final Attack and Knights of Round Materia.
 
I've never beaten Emerald without using Knights ... I *have* betean it without the Underwater materia though (more than once) because I completely missed it first time through the game ... and I was like "damn, I'm *not* going to replay all that"! Can't beat Emerald with *just* Knights if you're on a time limit, takes faaaar too long to summon.
 
Well, Ficedula, try having Cloud Mime his Omnislash limit break.  It can be done, as long as no one else does anything, like counterattack or something.  I did that, and I managed to piss off ol' Emmy enough for him to use "aire tram storm" on me.  I coulda won if I had the Final attack materia.
 
I did say I *had* beaten Emerald :wink:

Equipping Yuffie with Conformer, sprint shoes and 4XCut worked well for me - the Conformers special ability combined with 4X Cut meant it could deal out quite a lot of damage per action in *not a lot of time* (that being the important thing when you don't have Underwater materia...), sprint shoes of course to get that attack off as often as possible.

Omnislash was fairly good, but it takes a while to execute; not as bad as a summon, but not quite so "efficient" as Yuffie. Of course, you can't win *just* with Yuffie, so that was a backup option.

Surviving Aire Tam Storm isn't hard :grin: Not if you know the way it works ... I suspect quite a lot of people here do. Even so, Final action/Phoenix is fairly essential unless you're both well equipped good AND lucky.

im assuming that was joey...... anyway.... maybe i should level up my old characters some, and get a better chocobo.

We *have* IP logging. You don't have access to the logs because you aren't a mod.

If you mean "can the board work out your username from your IP" than no, the majority of people will have a dynamic IP anyway (even people on ADSL like me *still* don't have a fixed IP). Sort out your problems with the board remembering your username; works fine for me and I'm running on fairly high security.
 
fice: If i remember right, air teame storm gives (1111 * materias equipped) damage. But I didnt know that when i beat the emerald one. Probably I got lucky (surely not on first time). I had about 10 materias equipped with all characters, to get HP high.

But on Ruby there is good thing to cast that Death Guy summon (odin?). It can stop Ruby.
