And got it for 5$!, Problem is, I have a 42" hd monitor and its highest res is 1280x960... I wish I could force it into 16:9... this is disappoint...

But you can. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure this kills the proportions and it's stretched to widescreen rather than showing extra content on the sides (not positive, report back if I'm wrong!), but it will enable higher resolutions up to what your setup can handle.
 
Woah what keyword did you use? I searched "force 16 9 old games" and got nothing lol.
Im getting this now, will let you know and even take screenies for future reference.


strange...this just changes your resolution like windows does, it doesnt change the games resolution.

How do I go about editing the game to run in that res? It has a config application, the exe itself, and then 3 cfg files, 1 for refresh rate, the others for idk...

to be honest, I don't know. I'd have to find my CT3 disc, haven't used it in years. A better place to ask about this stuff is WSGF, they specialize in this sort of stuff.

edit: No wonder the thing I linked before didn't work, it was the wrong thing. Try this.
