I was thinking of having Cloud use it (I'm trying to make most of his weapons first)

Ask and ye shall recieve. I was thinking of making Loz's weapon for Tifa at some point.
 
y not kadaja's for cloud? but i was thinking mby cid could have the axe/spear
 
I probably will make Kadaj's sword eventutally, but that will be really easy, so I'm not going to jump on it. I don't tihnk that axe would look really good for Cid, but I might make something like it for him.
 
Woo hoo great work andrew, haven't seen you round here the last few days and was wandering where you where :lol:. I'm really liking the buster sword, sendem round to me and I'll put them ingame for you. At a later date i was thinking of changing the names on all the weapons so they match the new ones. As i saw with the spell patch you can change the name of the spells so why not the weapons aye? Also when all of a characters weapons are finished we'll have to figure out wich weapon should be switched with witch.
 
I decided that I didn't want to make an exact replica of Kadaj's sword, so I made one with a similar design:

Why not have both but have Kadaj's the stronger of the two and one of the swords you get for completing a task rather than just buying . . .
 
So, Barret has a Chainsaw for a weapon, what about the Lancer from Gears of War (the machine gun with a chainsaw attached).

Household items wouild be kind of funny, especially on Cait Sith.  Seeing him a frying pan or spatula would be kinda funny.  Cid with broom, too.

It might be funny to give Cloud a dagger.  He'd still use both hands, but the blade would be really small.

I love the lightsaber, what about Darth Maul's double lightsaber for Aeris (would be sweet) or Cid. 

You could give Yuffie a Spartan Shield, a la the 300.  Also, seeing King Leonidas in the game would be awesome. 

More axes would be cool.  Keep up the great work!

he would eather b cutting 1 of his hands(mby both) or his other hand would b holdin ntn.  :-D  but if u could could u make it so he's holdin 2 daggers like zidane does

Well for the most part, at least at first, I'm trying to make weapons based off of the world of FF7 (with the exception of some weird ones like The Master Sword "Toxic's Keyblade" and the Lightasber) but once I start running short on FF7 themed swords, I'll probably take some of these into concideration. I'll probably do the household items for Cait Sith. I like that idea.

I think you misunderstood him. I guess what he really meant was:
"It is good to see that you are holding yourself back."

But this is a prime example why people should at least try to write in full English to avoid such situations. Since the internet is depending on written language only, you can't judge your counterpart's gestures or manner of speaking and thus this could lead to misunderstandings.

Oh, dear ice_cold513; we are discussing about introducing short term bans. Should work well for people are just too lazy. Intentionally break rules: one week ban. Intentionally break rules again, two week ban. Intentionally break the fucking rules yet again, four week ban. And so forth. Eventually even the most stubborn people learn. Or will simply be kept in check by being constantly banned.

Awesome work andrew I'll have those ingame in a day or two. But i wanted to mention although your modeling and texture work is fantastic, your uv mapping is quite inefficient and was wandering if next time you make a model you could send it to me to map. Because as is there far to big, as in that by the time i stretch a 512x512 texture out to fit ingame it becomes 2048x512 so i don't lose image quality but the .bmp becomes 1mb and seeing as each character has about eleven weapons it becomes quite large quite quickly if you can see where I'm going with this.

The hand thing is the Dual Hound from Advent Children... well kinda'. It will be for Tifa. All three weapons used by Kadaj's Gang will be in the game.
Dual Hound- Tifa
Velvet Nightmare- Vincent
Souba- Cloud

As far as you using any of them, I don't know yet. We have to see which ones get used in the mod that I'm working with squeeble on.

squueble- Sure, I'll start sending you models to map. I've never really been all that great at UV mapping.

Nice stuff, Loz's "Dual Hound" seems to be coming along.

How about Barret's mega hand cannon and even the metal hand it starts of as instead of the <weapon name here> :? he runs up and smacks them with, the spike ball one . . .  :|
