Softlocked at Honey Bee Inn on Steam deck

I'm using a few tsuna mods including ESUI and the Shinra Archeology mod.

When I speak to the guy on the couch the dialogue box won't respond to any inputs, softlocking my game. Any advice for progressing here or should I just disable the shinra mod for this part?
