I had those and then some, except for the middle one.  They look nice.

That information would be pretty easy to come up with given a user's IP address and user agent (which of course are received by a web server pretty much any time you do anything in your web browser).  It could log the info but couldn't really do much else.
 
Ah.  I see.  I can even see how it works.  It works through the picture being a linked picture somewhere else.  Easy!

I think the middle wallpaper is a fake..
it writes Square Soft CO. 2001!

When this game hasn't even release in 2004...
They probable modified Rinoa's scene...
 
I think that's an official image that was actually published back in 2001.  I think I remember seeing it posted here.  Anyway, the last image I definatley saw for the first time back in 2002 but has recently been showing up as an FF12 promo image.

looks very wierd.. it see seems to be added in by photoshop or other photo editing programs..

And from what i see.. They should put it as

but not Code: [Select]

and notice the mistake they have done as they added an extra comma after the fullstop which is normally what square enix won't do..

Please correct me if I'm wrong cause its juz what i think..
 
Yes, I think the middle one is a fake, it was done quite some time ago if I recall correctly. They used a backdrop from FF8 and put another character on top.
 
That doesnt look like any back drop from ff8 to me.. I guess you guys could be right..
 
Well, it reminds me of the opening movie of Rinoa in the field with the flowers. But either way I'm certain I remember seeing this years ago, and it was definetly a fake.

... Although them flowers at the front on the photo look kinda fake.

Edit * When I say fake I mean... added at a later stage to the photo. They are obviously "fake".
 
The flowers in the "fake" picture look really cool to me.  And the girl looks nice on top of that.  Besides, it'd be really funny if the picture was real after everyone here says she's fake.

lolx.. notice the pedals of the flowers floating... it looks exactly like the one in Final Fantasy VIII and it doesn't looks like the pedal from the flowers in dat wallpaper? Lol... i dunno... maybe i'm right.. maybe the others are right.. haha..
 
They're not the same type of floating pettles.
