hey i'm trying to find the best way to capture gameplay footage from the PC version of FF7.  i can do it with the PSX version using a capture card, but mine sucks so the quality isn't all that great.  So i want to use the PC version...  so far i can get into windowed mode, but i can't use my keyboard once i alt tab.  i have yet to try my joystick and see if that will still work.  any fixes for this by anychance?  once i can fix that i have a screencap program that should work fine.

also, is there a way to remove the gui durring battles?

it would also be a great help if someone has a 3d model of the Vincent battle model, with a gun in hand, or can supply me with one (Lightwave, Cinema4d, 3dsMax, what ever).  i'll try doing it myself later today tho, would be easier if someone already had it :P

anyway, thanks in advance

PS: sorry if this is the wrong forum

That's rather odd.  I use print screen and go back and forth from the game to photoshop no problem.

As for hacking out the GUI, well, that's only something someone like Halkun could tell you.

well, i'm not trying to get 1 screen cap...  i'm getting video.  it's a lot easier to manage (and faster to process) when the game/program is in a windowed mode and in a smaller res.

i managed to get the battle model into lightwave, btw.

Uhm, try different video capture programs like Fraps or "Cinamagic"(?).  Do a google search and try out some demos.
