Noah "Spoony" Antwiler is probably known best for his somewhat epic review of Final Fantasy 8, I say review yet he basically just spends the time ripping it several new holes, now, he's back and at it again, this time he's having take out at at the expense of Tidus by "reviewing" Final Fantasy X.

Unless you've followed the guy, many of his jokes will be a bit alien such as his Black Lantern Spoony and clone jokes at the start of the FFX vid as they're continued from older unrelated videos.

He STILL doesn't know how to crop out the letterboxing in the game footage to make it less horribly stretched. :(

I'm actually taking some time to watch the FFX review.

Part 2.  I find it interesting how he takes the mick out of Wakka and Seymour's hairstyles.  He's got a pretty poor hairstyle himself :P

Not defending FFX.  All in all, his review is harsh, but hilarious, especially the "ass count" thing he's doing ;D

harsh, but very true. i liked the part about anti-magic field in ff8 prison. and moments later you can use magic in battle in the very same area. he pretty much nailed it.
 
Remember "Spoony" is just a character, same with the Angry Angry Video Game Nerd, they're playing the part of someone who picks apart every little detail for our entertainment.

Spoony has said he doesn't actually hate FFVIII as much as the review would make us believe, at most he was just pissed off due to the changes that made it so different from previous games (draw/magic system and junctioning) because he really liked VII.

Yes. And he is, indeed, entertaining. What's the issue here?
 
I'll always refer to FFX as one of the better FF titles alongside VI and VII (even with these "faults", the story is highly entertaining and the gameplay is awesome), but his review indeed is hilarious. Can't wait for the last part.
