Strange bug in ff7 fullscreen

Hello, I have spent some time and got all of the mods I want running on my laptop. Everything works great! Except for one minor little problem.

The game flickers in full screen mode really badly. I can run windowed mode, and have everything flawless, high res, bloom shading etc.... but when its full screened i have bad flickering. I am running windows 7 64 bit.

Also, I noticed when I am full screened and flickering, if I hit the windows key, or alt tab, the flickering stops, but then I go back in it just starts flickering again.

I have tried messing with the vsync settings, I have tried using other monitors, my tv...etc, but nothing seems to work.  My graphics drivers are the newest versions.

I assume that you're probably using Aali's driver since you have High-res and bloom active. I have this problem with other games too and I suspect it has something to do with OpenGL. Sorry I can't be more specific than that, but I hope that gets you on the right track at least.
