Simple question:  Is there a way to reduce the font size of FF7, like the menu font, stuff like that.  I think it has to do with the bin. files... :? :? :?
 
If im not wrong the menu things are images (am i right? or maybe im confusing?) so the only way is to recreate a .bmp whit smaller fonts :D
 
Hmm..  Maybe your right..  I've done some editing on the menu lgp, so I should be able to pull this off.

but i've done all i could on bitmaps.  I don't think editing bitmaps are the way to go.  theres probably something you could hex edit on a bin file to get some results.
 
We would need to know the tile-size limitation for each character and a colour palette.
 
im not so sure about hex editing this things. I mean, the words you see in the game are just created using the images stored inside menu_us.lgp. So all you need to do is to resize every fonts images. But this is only a supposition, i havent tested that already
