Hey apz how long do you think it will be before you can release a field model? I'm hoping to start playing the game over with the new model. (like ive done a thousand times and loved every moment of)

edit: so you're only going to make a chibi version huh?

lol i was hoping for a tall model to fit in cuz i like the tall versions...now im wondering if i would want chibi or tall.....problem is that all my chars are tall and if i changed just cloud back to chibi it would look really weird.

is there any way you or someone else could convert the battle model into a field model? i haz no idea how to do it, and from looking at people who try, it looks difficult and time consuming to say the least  :-(

Hi APZ..Could I ask here if your Buster Sword model will work with Slayersnext? Or do you have solution for this? Because when I tried using this with Slayersnext Weapon Mod. It messes up The buster sword ..But when I use the other swords ( Slayersnext mod )..it doesnt have that kind of glitch...


Can you please help me on this?....I really like your version of The Buster Sword....
 
Hey APZ, I want to see finished your chibi model. Meanwhile I am using your model of battle in field. He needs some adjustments but he is incredible in game. The problem is that I cannot use your buster sword  :-P, I need the textures...  :-D

APZ your work is amazing, and i am a fan of your Chibi style.
Could you please post some reference shots of your Cloud chibi..
like you did on the first page, of the KH cloud, because i want to make detailed chibis, quite like yours.

I like the retconned black outfit... Purple just never really seemed like something an ELITE 1ST CLASS SOLDIER would wear
 
Cloud is so badass that he could wear a rainbow colored outfit and still be tough  :-P

Did you also stumble upon the version of Ehrgeiz Version of Cloud or Tifa? He looks pretty tough there... and tifa wears a kinkier version of her outfit..( ahehehe )

i tried to make my own... with the original battle model (pulled from PRP/ NPC RP)
i made it to chibi proportions and such.. but i can't get it in game.. so yeah..

but that's not the point..

I am curious,
which 3D program do you use??

Koral did a little bit of exploring with Ehrgeiz, but it seems that no models can be extracted yet  :cry:

Of course, someone might be able to make models based on the Ehrgeiz characters. Although they aren't as detailed as the characters in later FF7-based games, they're a good choice because they stay true to the visual style of the original.
 
That's right!!.... the Char Models used here where already beefed up versions of them in the era of PSX. Meaning they're detailed in some way better..Hope We can pattern this to the reconstructing Clouds or Tifa's models or Better yet a guide to make a better RED XIII. Since He's there and biting!!! hehehe

would it be easier as takin a picture of a dog? ne?

Yes, Ehrgeiz could be a valuable resource for FFVII modders who want to keep the feeling of the original. As it happens, I have an old copy of the game that I (well, my dad) bought when it first came out. I'm not sure what kind of condition it's in... :roll:

Well I finally got him all converted into a field model.  However, I don't want to release it without your permission APZ.  I also kept my 'custom' black uniform  on him :-P

I think Apz is still working on that. Also, I imagine that someone else releasing a chibi model based on Apz's battle model would count as stepping on his toes :roll:
