The JENOVA bug (for qhimm)

I know that this bug is well known, but are there any plans to fix the fact that you cannot change character stats (lvl, exp, power, strength, speed, vitality, luck, dexterity)?  I know you could use sources for the six stats, but it's kinda nice to see max exp. on a character.
