Iran has complained that the logo for the 2012 Olympic Games in London is racist. What looks like the number "2012" on acid is in fact, according to some fuckhead, the word "ZION". Clearly, this was a deliberate attack on the entire Islamic word; the vague abstract logo that hardly looks like anything at all obviously says "Zion", and we know that saying "Zion" is racist.

The BBC reporting on the matter. What's disturbing is that they are taking it seriously instead of bursting out laughing.

This can only be taken to spell Zion, a vicious racist attack.

Well...Chopsticks!  Black People!  Toyota!  This is at least three times as racist as the Olympic Symbol.

While ridiculous, Olympic committees are supposed to be completely unbiased and unilaterally considerate. From that short news-clip it sounds like they DID have a laugh and told Iran to shut it and get over it. What happens if I see Buddha in a cloud? Should I detonate a bomb inside it because it's racist? Racist? really? Last I heard Iran didn't have the monopoly on Islam. Or that Zion ONLY meant something to Muslims. Clearly I've been mistaken all this time.   ???

Personally, I think it looks really bad. It doesn't even look much like 2012 even though it's supposed to be. Why aren't the Arabs complaining about how London's butchering their beautiful numbers?

Ya know, at first when I read this. I was turning my head side to side trying to see it. But I just couldnt. Finally I scrolled up to go to a different page. And when I just glanced at it I saw it. And it really does, and dudeman on the left even has his hand on her head haha

And he's especially racist for saying that the name "Babylon" represents evil. Babylon was in what is now Iraq, so that means he supports the Iraq war and the Crusades against the Islamic word. I issue a fatwa against his grave!

Incidentally, couldn't you also say that every Olympic logo before London 2012's was racist? I mean, if this is the only one that spells "Zion", then the rest have been ignoring Zion and thereby implying support for militant anti-zionist ideologies such as Iran's. Blatant antisemitism!
 
It is pink! I approve 8-) I think Iran is full of super grumpy people that needs to get over themselves! They are way too caught up in forcing their beliefs on others...
