It’s wonderful that you can talk to yourself, but a forum is set up for discussions between multiple people. A forum allows you to reach people you would otherwise not be able to reach.
You can always reach yourself, so if you want to reach yourself, reach yourself in private.
Nobody else wants to watch you to reach yourself.

is a newbie determined by post count or how long they have been here? btw, out of curiosity, (i know this isnt the place to ask but im running out of time and cant go over there to ask) but does anyone have mirex contacts? or someone else on the NwN FF7 project? im a modeler, and i wanna try to help them. (dunno if any of you have seen my work, but in case you havent:

No, a noob is determined by general attitude and the manner in which they behave when first joining a forum. Paying attention to forum rules is a good first step for any noob, it's just a shame most of them fail to think about even looking at forum rules, much less abide by them. Not all obviously, but most certanly.
