Damn that's nice, I couldn't have done much better job than you. Anyways how did you do the fading in Cloud's neck?? I want to try.. Hehe
Btw Cloud has a little white on his nose. Well its just a test so it looks great! :)

Yeah I noticed that. I'll fix it when I do Barret.
 
Woah, that looks pretty awesome. I would love to see how fading would look on the original avatars.
 
Nice work. Maybe add a fad out on some of the harsher edges though. look odd to me

It is!

This is my first time using it and I keep asking myself, "Why did I ever use paint?"

I don't like the Tifa avatar though. I'm not quite sure what's wrong with it. I'll fix it tomorrow.

Hey if you do that with all the originals and fix it up slightly to where the whole thing fades(cause clouds top and right side look chopped off) and I DEFINATELY WANT IT! great job darkfang, you makin me jealous.
 
i was wondering with  this couldn't we just take a nice screen shot from the model being used in game and use it as avatar's just a thought

Its possible to do that but you'll have to crop it to the face of the character but then you'll have a 3d face as an avatar. Also this topic is about transparent avatars. :)
