Hello folks, I have been pretty inactive lately. I won't leave you guys like that again <3.

Anyways after I lost my previous midgar model due to a hard-drive malfunction I decided to remake midgar once again.

I have been mainly focusing on the Mako Reactors since they are my biggest enemy in the model :(.

The reactor entrance I have since fixed up and made longer in all 3 directions (I will post the new render when I'm home)

sad to hear you lost your model, did you loose everything?
Since I've lost a harddisc with unrecoverable photo's I tend to have copies of my work on several different drives, although I must sync all again... ::)

I agree, the reactor is a pain to do

Oh my Spoox, get on msn :D.

And yeah everything is lost :\. To copy over to an external hard-drive would of taken forever so I never done it, instead had it laying somewhere on my server but that was shutdown a while ago. I should try and boot it up and find it.

Indeed they are, however we will most likely be using Spoox's model I must talk with Spoox about that.

That looks fantastic!  I never really grasped the entire geometry of Midgar but this helps a lot!  Does anyone know about making model explorers?  I know this would be a completely separate project but it sure would be cool to be able to fly through a reactor and down to the slums.
