i got it. youd have a half holographic child. walk out of the holodeck and it would be missing half of it's genetic structure.
 
Bingo, I guess.

I could just imagine the child complaining:

"But Mom, why do I hafta wear this stupid mobile emitter!?  None of the other kids do!  I'm an organic life-form, right?  (starts sobbing) ...............Right?"
 
I think things like holographic sperm don't quite work the way they do in real life. More than likely, they're all sterile.

No she wasn't! She wasn't pregnant! She just thought she was because that's the way they had re-programmed her. It was just cosmetic effects created by the Doctor! How many times do I have to say that?! :x

And if it's not cosmetic, it looks like a pregnancy cause the holodeck is projecting that onto her! SHE WAS NOT PREGNANT!

I got a mp3 discman, and new 17" monitor. Old 14" went up in smoke ;(
