OS -> XP pro/Vista home (on laptop. Vista sucks)
Browser -> Anything. Don't care much. By default it's CometBird or Firefox.
Video player -> VLC, Tigerplayer or WMedia player Classic.
Audio player -> VLC or whatever default.
Image editing -> Gimp, mspaint.
Photo editing -> Gimp
Image viewing -> Whatever, don't care much.
Torrent client -> Azures (or is it Vuze now?) or BitComet.
Video Editor -> Been ages, don't remember.
Office tools -> Sun Open office or Microsoft Office. Visual Studio, Netbeans or Eclipse.
Anti-virus? -> F-Secure.

You never said if you gave Iron a try...

Also, complaining about Firefox crashes then moving to pre-alpha software seems a bit strange. Also, what's the latest version of VirtualDub like?
 
I like testing beta stuff. i've been using the pre alpha since... before the release of ff3.5.7 Crashes less. if you can believe... I'll give iron a shot right now though.

As for latest version, haven't touched it in a few months haha

So far i've noticed... doesn't load images fast haha

I like virtualdub. Sure, it isn't as easy to use as some other packages, but I just like the control it gives me. I felt as though I really wanted to properly understand things like video production, so I wanted to use a program that didn't hide its features and workings away from me.

Not that I've learned that much though  :D
