Actually now that I think about it, Naruto does.
Trigun did ( I forget the Jananese name ).
That's just off the top of my head (without thinking too hard on it). So maybe there is a possibility with that hmmm

It's very, very common.
Take classical Fushigi Yuugi for example. Hotohori, Nuriko, even Tamahome, from the Seiryuu side Nakago and Tomo. Shojou Kakumei Utena - *all* of male characters (not counting the teacher I think). Take all the Samurai related anime - there will always be one among them. Why? Because of Souji Okita, the famed fragile boy, who's fighting skills were beyond. Appeared in Rurouni Kenshin, PeaceMaker Kurogane, Shinsengumi, Burai etc. Along with other feminine characters. FMA and Naruto indeed (guess why they have so many female fans). Angelique - one out of twenty looks male, all others are hugely decorated, long-haired, feminine to mistake. Then all shoujo and shounen-ai. Of which titles you could give examples till boredom. And of course Final Fantasy. Sephiroth and Cloud, Squall, Kuja, Tidus, now upcoming Balflear, Vaan, even Basch. And the list goes on and on...

FF7 AC i believe will be great. DoC has the potential to be good. It has potential now whether or not that will be used is up to S-E. The story hints they have given if put together right sound really good and you also gotta take into consideration what happens in AC will change how you feel on what the story brings with DoC. I don't have many doubts that the story will be good. My doubts come from the game play. As it's been pointed out it does look very MGSish. Not saying that is how it's gonna be. I mean i really don't think that they would all of a suddon change from RPG's to that. But i guess if they wanted to try out a new way they figured this would be the game to do it on. Think if it is changed it's because they figure it's gonna be bought no matter what it looks like Or plays like an prolly their best opertunity to try a change in direction. Because of the fact it's the demanded sequal people have been waiting years for. Unfortunatly NOBODY wants to see that happen. I don't know a single FF fan who would wanna see things go like that. And i hope they don't go that direction but we will havta wait and see.

Yeah, the one who brings Faye back to his apartment and she wakes up in a rather...revealing...position. It still fits the image though, literally. He is, based on this point, the most ideal Japanese man.
