Why are people so confused with this?

Hi!

I just read a post on the 'Completely Unrelated' section and found the following post by Synergy Blades:

To be fair, you could make a post with 50 negative things about, say, FF7 in a similar vein to yours. Hell, I could, and in my opinion FF7 was the best of the lot. e.g, why does everyone in the world idolise Sephiroth when by the end of the game every party member surpasses his level/strength etc. anyway? Why can't you revive Aeris with Revive materia, seems daft that dead party members can rise from the grave in battle or in the field with Phoenix Down, and when Aeris dies, that's it.

NO! It's the Aeris conflict again! I don't understand why people can't grasp the obvious. You don't ever die in a battle, you are knocked out. The KO status doesn't kill you. When you get a huge sword shoved through your chest, you aren't knocked out... you are dead.  :roll:

So if you get Cloud to Attack a party member, and they lose all health... that's different how? I'd have figured a socking great Ultimate Weapon or even a Buster Sword through your body would do some serious damage.

Obviously in a battle situation you are not going to be allowed to kill your party because that would change the storyline a bit...  :lol:

I was just saying that in battles you are knocked out, and outside of battles you are... dead!  :lol:

Sorry if I confused you, or if I seemed to be aggressive in some way. I'm just a lovely, kind and caring person!  :love:

I agree, FF7 is teh suck, teh block hands are no good, Sqaure should rerelease it with real hands, and if someone dies in battle, they are lost from the game forever!!!

I think there are enough complain threads about other complain threads already. It has to stop.
