Here's the screenshot, there's no way I'm able to get it load into the game itself, I've tried

1. Reinstalling everything
2. Only enabling one mod, which is the reunion menu overhaul
3. Tried enabling compatibility settings to Windows 7

Please advice, thank you

Find the FF7 exe you are using from the main directory, eg.. ff7_bc right click and set compatibility to run in 640x480. Don't worry the opengl plugin will override this anyway.
Next go back into 7thheaven and try launching the game.

Wow, it works again, thanks a ton

Lesson learnt: Don't update anything funny on my HTPC again, it slows down my aging Q9550 + HDD HTPC by a considerable margin as well.

Also a side question, I did the Tifa's Final Heaven - 7th Heaven Modding Tutorial by EQ2Alyza and the game runs fine until I faced crashing issues in the bike chase section where I had to disable majority of the mods besides remako to continue; after reaching world map, it takes 20-22 seconds to load into world map, that includes after battle and exiting from field maps, I've then disabled majority of the mods besides main characters and NPC's field model, reunion menu overhaul and remako to bring down the world map loading time to a bearable 9-10 seconds. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance

In your 7H workshop general settings, make sure "music" and "direct" are listed only once each.  There's a bug in some 1.56 builds where anything in that folder gets duplicated on launch, and that'll bog things down and potentially cause out-of-memory crashes if your system's that tight to start with.

Thank you very much, I'll test it out soon after I had enough of the recent FF8 remastered. :)
