They say that every other Microsoft OS is a good one; looks like they skipped it this time and went directly to 10 :l
 
All the microsoft products are going with the "One" theme right now so they skipped 9 and when with One-Oh

Only MS could go from 8 to 10.  Little wonder their software is so clueless if they can't even count to 10.

Interesting, so they really just skipped 9 huh. Either way I'm just glad they're making the Metro interface, which is basically just a rip of the Xbox UI, optional and putting the start menu back. I was able to mod a few things in Win 8 to remove a lot of that crap and add the start menu, but it's still a real pain and I hate whenever I have to use it. I'm more interested in DirectX 12.
 
Worst thing is that they charge you for each modification they are doing, calling it a new version...

It's going to be a free update for Win8.1 users.
 
Well, it was confirmed that Windows 9 will be a free update, and as it will not exist... :D
Joke appart, this is a very good news for 8.1's users! :)
