I have a big audio interface that I use to route all audio to/from my computer. With win7 thru 10, I've noticed that when I put the computer to sleep, then wake it again, it sounds like windows shrinks the audio buffer size to the point where basic audio gets clipped. I resolve this by unplugging the interface and plugging it back in.
 
For the most part, I love Windows 10. It's one of the fastest and most stable operating systems I've ever used, and a lot of the features are really nice. Cortana can be a bit derpy, though.


It'd be one thing if she didn't understand me, but it's really frustrating that she knows exactly what I mean, claims to have done it, and fails. You'd think this kind of bug would be caught in QA.
 
Cortana is improving, but has nothing on Google Now. Bash in Windows 10 beta is surprisingly good though. Running Ubuntu inside a Windows cmd feels naughty. I could not work around a few deps to get Java installed yet unfortunately
 
I would have stuck with 7 on my older stationary computer. But leaving it idle while being away, it suddenly started to update haha. Surprisingly it went really well. And we're talking about a 5 year old computer with literally 100s of applications, and tons of files. The only issue I have now is with guitarpro 5. With 3rd party mididriver and soundfonts it lags when it's playing songs that are a tad bit complicated.

On my 8.1 laptop I decided to upgrade as I never really liked 8. It went well too, but I had to manually upgrade many drivers after. Which was a hassle.
