on vista, i could play FF7 no problem, i upgraded to windows 7, and now, after clicking the exe to the game, it flashes black then..... nothing, at all

actually, i just reinstalled it yesterday and now its working fine, maybe something got messed up during file movement in upgrading to windows 7

That is probably what happened, in place OS upgrades and never full proof. your better off formatting and a clean install.upgrading to windows 7
