Wow many dislikes FF9. I understand since its also my first impression when I first played the game. But I tried playing it again and now I find it funny and side quests are fun rather than following the story like FF8. I also liked it because it is the first final fantasy game that has good graphics which stays with the real final fantasy like black mages, thief, white mage, blue mage, knight/swordsman etc.. *off topic*

Monkeys aren't stupid, they are on of the smartest in the animal knigdom and we the humans are very close cousins to them. Some monkeys are stupid yes...but a lot of them are smart. FF9 was a good game, it had it's problems...like some ridiculous characters. Quina, Eiko...but everything else was pretty much perfect. Storyline wasn't cliche like some other games we know. And music and art style was a welcomed suprise after both FF8 and FF7 darker and more serious atmosphere.
You could call FF7 and FF8 almost science fiction, while FF9 went back to the roots of fantasy again.

Er, the storyline to FF9 was pretty cliché. Right from the beginning it starts with some thiefs kidnapping a princess. I've heard that one too many times.
I'd also say I prefer darker games, like FF6 which I'm playing right now. 
That's one thing about FF9 that I love, all the references to older FF games. XD I hadn't played them the first time I played FF9 but now that I've pretty much played all the older ones I get all the references in it.

Actually, I have a buster sword that I can wield and I'm a pretty skinny guy. It's like almost 6 feet (About 5'7", though the blade's a little flimsy, and made out of steel... I have a hard time swinging it around, but I'm pretty sure someone who works out would be able to wield it (Maybe not like Cloud, but shoot, atleast they'd be able to hold their own I'm guessing). @.@I don't think you'd want a buster sword out of wood. =P Unless you want it just for decoration or whatever, cuz it'd be way too heavy and unbalanced. It's like what, 6 feet long?Have you done any other swords? I'd really want to see a buster sword. I want to make one but all attempts I've done has failed.
Edit: Last I heard Timu was making a buster sword to sell at a convention, if you're interested. Dunno if he's still planning on making a second one but he might.

I think I'll try to make one of the weapons in ff9 but the problem is there isn't any weapon there that is so memorable like the buster sword or gunblade. Any suggestions?

That Ultima Weapon from FF9... Is that made out of wood as well, or is it made out of plastic? Or the blades made out of plastic and the "stick" wood?

To be honest I'm not really sure at all what that ones made out but If I had to guess I would say it is plastic and the pole is pvc just because I see the white on the end. This made me think though how sick would it be to made Ultima Weapon from FF7???

I actually think they've made an FF7 Ultima Weapon, though it looks a bit messy. It looked pretty awesome, considering haha.
